good. i hope he doesn't pull the pin. he still has something to offer, imo.
g-train is as tough as nails. remember a few seasons ago when he played most of the season with a broken bone in his hand.

Sad fact, but half the team would have to retire in that case. Almost every senior level footy player (not just AFL) will have arthritis to deal with, if not during the playing career then very soon after. Most 'normal' people will get some form of it in their fifties, but for many footy players - or many sports people who push joints beyond their intended bounds - it's a painful future from their thirties. Ironically, it becomes immediately worse once they give up the tough training. A real dilemma.4ever_saint wrote:just heard that as well. wow. he definately shouldnt've come back if thats true.

Is that right?
1. Why wasn't a medical done before he played again or more to the point signed up?
2. Does that mean he won't chase and has body language that would put Richo / Fevola at their worst to shame.
Sounds like an excuse to me.

His thumbs probably stuffed, mine is and I'm only 18. I had surgery a few years ago to re-attach the ligaments and tendons to the join following a footy injury... it is still well and truely rooted. It has been 3 years and the scar tissue is still there and i have arthritis in it. It becomes numb during winter.
