Buckley worse than Eddie?

Post: # 567453Post FraserGehrig »

Buckly hardly said a word about us. just talked sh*t about how good collingwood are all night.

Thought his commentary was insightful and completely non-biased......and I hated him as a player.....love him as a commentator...

I did laugh at his patronising "this is still a contest" when it was 10 pts the difference with 10 mins to go.

Personally I don't mind him.

Buckley is one of the better ones.

Midfield clearances and clear winners are needed to make an effective forward line.

You need to protect the ball handler to increase posession efficiency

He was good tonight if anything he's 2 scared and goes the other way and doesn't pump up plays enough when he should.

In the 1st qtr he was to scared to over hype Harry o'briens goal.

Buckley goes ok.

Got to admit I was not a Buckley fan when he played - but I had no problem with his commentary tonight. In fact sometimes he actually sounds quite intelligent . He is nowhere near as biased as Pain Russell when he does the Power games.

Opening post getting destroyed here - Buckley is fine.

Eddie is also fine; when he was commentating on Collingwood games, I actually found his knowledge of their game plan, etc very insightful.

BT was far, far more gung-ho on the radio. But that's probably because Collingwood play a much more exciting game. Still, he's great to listen too.

This is a complete non-issue. Professionals - the three of them - who execute superbly IMO.

Clueless and mediocre petty tyrant.

HAd no problems at all with Bucks, Commetti was an absoloute tool tonight and you could tell who he was barracking for all night. Commetti is nothing but an overpaid, undereducated old moron who doesn't know two things about footy and spends his whole time thinking of corny stinky jokes that are meaningless and predictable, then Mcavaney gets a trumpet and blows it up his arse.

Buckley is a great special comments man. Really like his style and not at all biased.
