When was the last time we had an upset win at TD???

Post: # 580343Post saint66au »

Granted we have started favorites at most games we've played at the Dome over the last 4 years, but I cant remember the last time we started underdogs in a game there and won.

Of course last year we knocked over the Weagles in perth and in 06 beat the Swans at the SCG..but it seems if we start underdogs in Melbourne we lose...and often badly.

Can anyone remember us being genuine outsiders at TD recently and bringing home the chocolates?

Sunday would be a mighty good time to buck this trend!!

Note sure if we were underdogs as far as the bookies are concerned, but Adelaide in the second half of last season is one where we were probably underdogs.

Lions 03.

Since then we were never true underdogs.
Till now that is.

That was the game where Guerra crunched Cameron Bruce about five seconds in wasn't it?

Sure was. I remember saying to some mates on the train to the game that if someone can take Bruce out, we'd win. I actually meant a good tag, but guerra's job did the trick.

Cam Bruce has never been the same since that game. I think he'd polled 8 or 9 brownlow votes in the first 3 games.
