I've been thinking about the whole "who's to blame-players or coach" business that's going on.
Many have proposed that Lyon has lost the players, which may be true. But so much of footy nowadays is based around player ownership etc.
I know the Saints have done the Leading Teams stuff over many years which teaches players to own the team and develop themselves and the team.
So if the players don't respond to Lyon shouldn't they respond to each other and themselves?
Shouldn't their pride kick in and demand a better performance than they've been giving?
Maybe it's time for the coaches to step out for a while and let the players look deep within themselves and each other and pull themselves out of the mire they're in?
Maybe it's time for the players to own their performance and the team and do something about it?

One day it's all got to be worth it.

I don't mind you telling me that you think we need to sack the coach.
BUT
do you have to tell me in scores of posts in every thread?

If all people are saying is true about the players and RL then he is heading down the way of most coaches that get sacked. This is what made the Gt sacking an unusual one because the players were in favor of the coach yet he was still sacked. Most coaches lose the players then ultimately the board comes out in support of them before sacking them 4 weeks later.

Fair enough, point taken.
