Michael Nettlefold to join the Board

Just heard Gerard Healy say on 3aw that he has joined our board.

I see he has MD experience at Channel 10.
The club must see the need for some added experience.
We can do with all the help we can get atm.
An ex player too !

i think the new board is doing ok so far

major sponsor
sorted out a new home for us
Fixed up the probslems with the scorpions
Got us to Sandy
Completely supported the coach

Wasn't he brought in to replace Dana Nelson who never actually joined?

What are you suggesting now with your nonsense

2 of the "Old Board" members defected after GT had been given the sack. Their problem was obviously with the Board at the time (rather than GT which I am sure is your angle).

Nettlefold was pre GT.

My only problem with Nettlefold coming back is that he was a Carlton supporter before playing for us.

Only joking for those too serious except that Mick was a Carlton supporter and did think big Nick was better than big Carl

I have not suggested anything...

However FF came along with promises about a new team etc....

Some of their team have have never fronted....

2 of the then current Board stayed.

And now one blast from the past is back too.

Now they might all be very competent people.....Nettlefold may well be fantastic.

...but this is becoming less and less a "new" ticket.
