Not bad at all.
All he's been asking for is accountable footy and last night he got it.

I'm sure Kosi, Milney and Dal learned something watching that game.

I had some of my beliefs confirmed.

1: Lenny Hayes is worthy of All-Australian selection
2: Luke Ball is the gutsiest/toughest bloke playing AFL.
3: Robert Harvey is AMAZING! 20 seasons and still killing 'em! Incredible!
4: Roo can dominate a game if he gets free reign around the paddock.

PEACE

I did say it tongue firmly in cheek but it was like watching a different team.

If Dal got dropped for being unaccountable, Gwilt should be playing for Bon Beach Reserves next week.

If being accountable for your opponent is the flavor of the month, why do players zone off their opponents and concede possession to them?

If there was ever a chance to play fast, direct and long kicking footy, it was last night. The bullsh1t tempo, defensive style of play nearly cost us the match. Freo are crap, they were playing in Melbourne, and we only won by 8 points.

How many goals did his player kick or even set up. Look he is no star and seems to take the best option but he won his position last night. If you are going to be critical who was on there only good player Pav. He nearly won the game on his own.

exactly - perspective people - enjoy the win - but we barely won against a team putting in the worst performance i've seen all year - and that with our players (most anyway) busting a gut.

It's a win so no point anyone moaning, but we need to lift a lot if we're to match the roos!

Freo have lost 12 of their last 13 games outside of WA i believe. Something similar to that anyway.

4 points is 4 points.

I believe the talent of the team carried us through not any genius of the coach.

harvey, ball, Lenny till he got rolled, riewoldt and others.

10:5 to 8:9 or something like that.

4 points is 4 points and I'll take that right now.

I hope McEvoy told Pavlova at the end of the game who won and who didn't.

Look we won, that was a positive, the kids showed promise, a positive,
Roo kicked straight a positive.

However we only kicked 10 goals and you wont win many games doing that.

I would like to see more positive play, because lets be honest it is awful football to watch.

RL gameplan IMO is more about trying not to lose than trying to win.

But we won, with a bunch of rookies and Lenny not playing 3 quarters.

No question RL engineered the win with half a team that lost to Sandy by 37 points earlier in the season.

Can a 10 goal side do the same against more honest opponents?

Yep. I think this week was a huge turning point in RLs coaching tenure.

He took control of the club and possibly layed to rest the spirit of his predecessor that still may exist in some of the players.

I think he'll get better.

Yes he was great Ross.

I was especially impressed with the way we played such free flowing footy.

Then i just loved the way when we had the chance we really went for the kill.

Or what about the fact that Roo was best on ground but didn't have an opponent and got cheap kicks behind the footy.

Actually u know what i liked most was the glorious spectacle this game provided.

It talked me into turning up next week

What a Joke!
