Baker

Attard should also be playing a few games before seasons end, one would have thought.

looking to the finals ( from VFL record )
CASEY SCORPIONS Position: 4th Record: 10-6
Season so far: Down at Casey they’ve dubbed coach Greg hutchison ‘Merlin’ and with good reason. He has somehow moulded a young team, which no one gave any hope of making the eight, into a top-four team. It’s been a truly remarkable performance by a coach, who has been a regular AFL assistant coach for the past decade. Hutchison has extracted every skerrick of ability from his low-profi le Scorpions to the extent they can now have a signifi cant say in just who wins the VFL
premiership.
While the Scorpions may have had a favourable draw, the bottom line is they’ve kept winning. And, apart from their round 15 loss to the Werribee Tigers, the Scorpions have been competitive in every match, even running Williamstown to 16 points at Point Gellibrand. While they’ve posted seven scores of 16 goals or more, the key to the Scorpions’ success has been their ability to shackle the opposition. Seven times they’ve kept rivals to 13 goals or less, including fi ve scores of less
than 10 goals.
What’s ahead: North Ballarat (h), Frankston (a), Coburg Tigers (h), Collingwood (a)
The equation: For all his ‘magic’, Hutchison will gain a greater insight into where Casey stands after its next three matches. If the Scorpions can emerge with two wins from their games against North Ballarat, Frankston
and Coburg, and then defeat Collingwood, they will secure a top-four fi nish. Signifi cantly, it sits a game and signifi cant percentage ahead of the fi fth placed Werribee Tigers.
Likely finish: 4th

Attard has reinjured his knee.

Did too much too early apparently.

Ferguson, really need him or Charlie back in the side.

Xavier hopefully can run out the game.

Michael G? King certainly needs a rest (overdue and deserved)

One of Birss or Armitage need to force their way into the side with a BOG performance.

Jones???

Amongst other things he landed 7 tackles...

He has also put in over many games, compared to others that playa game and then go missing the next.
