Rooey darkhorse Brownlow chance?

Post: # 623865Post fugazi »

Must have 5 or 6 clear BOGs this year and thats 15 -18 votes he can count on.
Even though Boomer Harvey and Ablett jr are the obvious favourites, I'm surprised Reiwoldt gets no mention.

Had some good games in losing sides an might snaffle a couple of 1 and 2 vote games.

The way the umps vote, who knows!

I would think he'd be a fair shot to poll the most votes as a KPP.

Had a bit on him @ $67.

But for mine he isn't much of a chance.

Didn't poll well in 2004 even though he was outstanding.

Statistically he plays very well against Essendon, but generally struggles against the Crows.

However last year against Adelaide he pulled down 18 grabs, had 21 possessions and kicked 2 so let's hope he keeps up that form next week.

Interesting to see if the umps still hold a grudge against him?

Would that also bugger up Boomer Harvey's chances this year due to the fact he had a knack of staging for frees in the past?

Round 1 v Sydney = at least 2 votes, likely 3
Round 5 v Essendon = most likely 1 vote
Round 10 v Melbourne = possibly 1 vote
Round 13 v Fremantle = at least 2 votes, likely 3
Round 14 v North Melb = 3 votes
Round 15 v Carlton = 3 votes
Round 16 v Hawthorn = 2 votes at least, likely 3
Round 17 v West Coast = possibly 1 vote
Round 19 v Collingwood = possibly 1 vote
Round 20 v Fremantle = 3 votes

TOTAL = minimum 16 votes, maximum 22

would have already won a brownlow if he could kick straight.

I bought a shirt from Target once.
It had a hard tag on it too.

He needs another 2 BOG's in the last 2 games to be any shot.
Then he needs to be given every potential 3. At the moment I reckon he has 6 potential 3's with only a couple of others that he may poll a vote in.

You'd think Ablett's pretty much got it won

Im convinced he'll win it... ive got him pushing 20 votes.... While Ablett is the obvious threat, he has Selwood and Bartell to take votes away, plus he missed a month of footy...

Put your money on the big blonde..

Since Demetriou said after last year that he'd 'have a word to the umpires' about the fact only on-ballers win it, I'd say it's a monty that a non-on-baller will poll well.

Even though it's deadset cheating and corruption, I hope it works. I had a crack at Roo at decent odds.

That is easily the most amazing statement I have ever read on here - ever!! Doesn't kick goals??? sheesh.

Noticed another post of yours criticizing Riewoldt in another thread.

Considering his form in the second half of the season, it's amazing to me that there are any idiots on here still willing to have a go at him.

Well done, tool.

I can understand the frustration about Roo's goal kicking.

But this year, it's been well and truly overshadowed by his overall performance.

I think up until this year though, it's been the other way around.
