conversation with Brad Johsnon....

Post: # 667997Post fingers »

for what it's worth I met him last week on holiday in Fiji. Rates Farren quite highly - said people forget he is still young. Would be formidable on the wing opposite Joey. His concern was the he felt that the Saints had a number of similar players.

The players were very keen for him to stay.

No earth shattering news here - just thought I would share. Made an interesting comment about Fiora LOL

Was he there on his honeymoon with Rohan Smith?

After he dived into the pool did he look around for an umpire to give him a free kick?

"...If there has been one recurring theme through this whole shocking mess, it has been the misguided, inflated egos and their ill-judged determination to cling to long-standing old boy friendships. The bad advice that has guided the selfish and culpable James Hird has not only punctuated this saga but symbolised it..."

When he said that Farren would be good on the wing - I commented that he would be better than Fiora. His response was, "Oh jesus!. He is sh!tloads better than Fiora. Fiora has got the best out of himself"

The vigour in his response was quite funny as well as his view that Fiora had pretty much reached his maximum level.

That'll get back.

Expect Fiora to line up on Johnno in 2009 to really stick it up him.

He'll show him.

well let's hope on that one.

I mean, if Rossy can ditch Birss, surely he can do a number on the Big Fizz also!

Pretty sure that is not the case. Yes, his payments count towards our total player payments, but I'm pretty sure that he can be delisted so that we could fit another player in (ala Carroll at MFC) if the club so desireth.

Hird... The unflushable one is now... just a turd...
