just read in another post that ths ex-MAGPIE is down training at moorabin?

anyone have a pic, stats and more importantly a feel for what he could add to us considering he's been invited down for some reason?

some run, maybe?

Apparently he has good work ethic and can run all day, but his skills are terrible.

Yeah sounds about right saintersss.

Huge tank but skills are a tad rusty. From Tassie originally and taken in the 05 pre-season draft.

I saw him play a fairly decent (20 odd possesions) game against us last season and remember saying he will become a fair player. Seems to have fallen out of favour at Collingwood this year though.

I'd rather have kept Birss (if we are to pick him up) however I'd rather him on the list than most the other delistees.

I wonder if he is rookie-able?

seriously we need some skill - we cant carry to many Clint Jones...(and Im a Jones fan just dont want 20 of them).

i might be the only person on here to be imrpessed by him considering the limitations he has had due to not playing often at the highest level

its difficult for a small to make a lating impression though if they are in and out of a team

to me he did a few armo-type things during games...things that stick in your head however when you look at the stats sheet he had less than 10 possessions

Just because a player is training with a club at this time of year does not mean that club will recruit that player. Very few of the players training with clubs now will be taken up.
