Norths Intimidating

Post: # 752637Post VietNam_Saint »

They really came out and tried to intimidate our boys.

Looked like they really wanted to be the hard men.

Couldn't keep it up ,, our guys have never looked stronger.

Great to see

Make it 2 quarters and they had illnesses plus a lot of outs and only 2 interchange players in 2nd half. They are a gutsy group.

Boo hoo to their illnesses and injuries.

They put 22 out there as did we.

Have a decent feed Laidley before they wave you goodbye...

That "shinboner spirit" is the biggest load of s*** in the game today.

Its a piss weak attempt at marketing their club with some kind of imaginary ingrained hard man attitude. What a load of old bollocks.

We dont go around claiming some sort of "Heros with Halos" marketing tag. Its as simple as that marketing or delusion (probably both)

great effort from the roos but the umps certainly aided them by letting their scragging tactics go on unpenalised.

I reckon that if Judd or Ablett had been manhandled the way Dal, Joey and Lenny were at every bounce in the first half there would have been lots of free kicks paid to them.

The umpires are supposd to be looking for that type of illegal activity but they obviously were in bad positions all day!

We knew they would come out hard, we also knew they could not keep it up.

They got a dose of their own medicine from about mid way through the second half and came off second best.

I'm surprised Laidley approached us that way. His boys never had the bodies to come up trumps against us in that kind of contest. The result was predictable.
