With 17 wins, this team has now won more games during the home and away season then any other St.Kilda side.


Except for the sanity nothing much has been lost.

BUT in the 60's when we dominated, weren't there only 18 games a year, before it lept to 22 rounds in 1970, or was it 20 rounds in between??

Saintspremiers is right,

it was only 18 H&A games up to 1967.
Went to 20 in 68.
Then 22 in 1970.


The rest of Australia can wander mask-free, socialise, eat out, no curfews, no zoning, no police rings of steel, no illogical inconsistent rules. 
They can even WATCH LIVE FOOTY!

The previous best of 16 was achieved in 1971 and 2004.

Interestingly, 17 is the highest number of wins St. Kilda has ever achieved in a season, including finals.

Quartermain also said tonight it could be the first time a club hasn't "debuted" a player in a season.


Gehrig emerged from scans yesterday saying he was "as sweet as a bun"
