yep still thought if bolton kicked it long, they could of easily marked in the 50 with a kick after the siren!!

Yet i was claiming the point as a victory as soon as it went through!!! Probably one of the most enjoyable points i've willed through!!

I might have mistaken this (it all went so fast), but did he kick it to the half forward flank and not the corridor? All I remember is it somehow ended up on the wing...

When they kicked to the pocket I knew we'd won.

If we were in that position, I'd stick Goddard in the middle and tell Grammy to torp it to him. Goddard to run 15 and kick it from 60. We'd have enough time to get another one!

You could take Goddard out of the equation, on the SCG Gram would still make the distance

At the time I was thinking a point would have been the better result.

I would back us to lock things up for another 20 or so seconds.

Had we kicked a goal though, Sydney win the clearance, a quick kick out of the centre could land anywhere, mark and all of a sudden they can level the scores.

Exactly right...tjhought the sme thing myself after the game

Why gift Sydney 90m (OK..75m its the SCG lol) by having the ball go back to the centre?

Wonder if Joeys claiming he deliberately kicked it wide??lol

Well you people watching it on TV were lucky to have the time clock. at the ground it was to nerve wrecking for words. Quarter went for over 38 minutes. We were sitting at the Swans end so it was hard to see. When Joey kicked the point the score only went up on one score board so we wasn't sure what was going on. Second quarter also very long.

Roo should have got a free for being held and would have got a goal. But we were better off with the point to keep the ball down there.
