I have not seen any of the game (yet).

Would like to know how Ben went, and would he still get a gam with Kingy, Gardy available?

King had more impact I thought. Based on form, if one of the ruckmen was to make way for Gardiner it would have to be McEvoy.

if Gardi comes back for Rd 2 then big Mac will play FF assuming Kosi gets rubbed out

What will that actually achieve?

No. I think MG will probably play but I think we should give Heyne a go.

Pardon! Did you watch the same game and or preseason that i have.

Whenever Macca was in the ruck i thought there was so much more control than when King was in the ruck.

Kings efforts around the ground were woeful imo - He barely got off the ground in ruck contests and his marking above his head leaves a lot left to be desired.

Macca is our future, we must play him!!

If Kosi is rubbed out Gardy will come in...he and King will ruck with Mac playing deep forward with the odd run in the ruck (the "Kosi role" if you like)

All IMO :-)

When Gardiner comes in King will drop out and stick to his main role of ruck coach.

Why Heyne, gut feel or track form?
