Goddard's Elbow on Johnson ?

Post: # 915553Post Nick_Stone29 »

Didnt look great on the replay & obviously they will have a good look at it at the match review.

Just hoping it was in the neck rather than the jaw/chin area .

Reprimand hopefully. Nothing in it, but reckless and high.

Nowhere near the head and not forceful enough to warrant a look.

I'd be more interested in Barry's hand in (I think) Baker's face. Bit of eye massage?

Johnno as per usual does his swan dive for the free kick, if anyone's reported its him for staging....

Reprimand to one. High contact, reckless, low impact.

Yeah, I wondered what Hall was doing with his hands so close to out player's eyes... both Baker and Fisher in that little bit of a melee.

Johnson could possibly get two for staging.

Are you gonna be the one?

Yeah no chance of getting weeks.

A forearm to the chest, Johnno was milking it, doubt it will even be looked into.

Across the collar bone, Johnson was faking higher contact trying to draw a free kick.

As for what the tribunal says, spin the wheel.

Seconded.....

I'm gonna say it, has to be close to one of the most overated/worst 300 game players ever.....

Maybe I'm way off, but I've never seen him do ANYTHING that i've got stored in the memory bank, like I do with all the other 300 gamers and/or legends of the game, that reminds me of how great a player he was.

The fact is, I've never seen him as a great player, only a durable one.

He's the only player in the history of the game whose 300th game was honoured by the creation of a new (alas, now little-used) forum on Saintsational!!

Back on topic, if I were Goddard, I would argue that raising my arm was a reflex action. Johnson lunged straight towards him at considerable pace, apparently looking for some sort of contact.

I'd be surprised if anything came of it.

It's irrelevent where on the body BJ hit him, it's how the person landed on the ground and if he hurt his head on landing.

That would be two free kicks in succession, I assume.

Incorrect.

Johnson was a superstar in his prime.

Actually, Johnson should be cited for poor acting.

Agreed.
She doesn't even have boobs like Cate Blanchett.
