There appears to be a consensus that CJ wasn't at his best on Friday night. Mind you his best these days is pretty damn good 
With the greatest respect to the rest of our team, it must be said that the role CJ does must be one of the most taxing, both physically and mentally. That said, if anyone should be adversly affected by consecutive 6 day breaks it is CJ.
The 10 day break since the doggies game should see him back to his usual "fire blanket" self, dousing the fire of whatever Carlton midfielder he's assigned to

The oppositions trick seems to be to drag him forward, thus negating his role. CJ has turned into a ripper player for us - I was one of his doubters when he first came into the team - but he has proven me wrong massively. Id go so far as to say that hes now in our top 5 most important players.
Surely he must go to Judd this time. I think when he played on Murphy, Judd was in the throes of his OP issues and didnt have his normal speed or power off the mark. Now that hes back to full fitness, CJ is the only one with his speed.
Id love to see Lenny go to Murphy at the whistle, and give him that famous hip and shoulder at the first contest...

That's why I rate Lenny as the better player. If Lenny's opponent is hurting us he will go and shut them down before worrying about his own stats. Judd couldn't care less as long as he's getting a kick. Two years ago at the G Judd got 30 possessions but let Gram get 25 and kick a goal...st_craig wrote:Saints haven't had a tight tag on him the last few times.
