What Fringe player could we be interested in

Post: # 968513Post Batnoe »

Now before you say ' oh if they're a fringe player then we arent interested'

Just think abou it.

I really dont mind the look of Josh Hill from the Dogs
and Ryan Gamble From the cats

These guys dont get too many regualar games at their current teams and could be our 3rd tall option

Is there anyone else there that isnt getting oportunities on their current team and could suit ours?

I also think that Justin Sherman could be a goer too

I'd still go for Prismall, will probably get dropped again this week....what on earth was Knights thinking, he was finally settling in to his position and getting some confidence, then he decides to give him a run with role on Judd?

Rumour earlier this year that he is GC bound. Wouldn't mind him here however, perhaps another G Train.

Josh Hill!! Josh Bloody Hill!!!! That can't be serious. He is the softest player in the AFL and by some margin! He makes Aaron Fiora look like Jonathan Brown. If you're looking at picking up fringe players I'd be considering the bulldogs players who aren't getting a game ahead of Hill because they'd clearly be questioning their future at the dogs if they're rated behind him.

Didn't we try to get Everitt last year?

Jack Riewoldt. Then we draft Charlie. Tell me you don't like the look of this forward line:

Steven - Riewoldt - Schneider
Milne - Riewoldt - Riewoldt

Then 'kick it to Riewoldt' would just be an inside 50.

I think we should try to get Richard Tambling instead, he would be a good pickup and Ross could harden him up,

And you believed him? Seriously - who would want to be a Tiger for life?

Make it happen, Ross. Just make them an offer they can't refuse. Kosi, Armo and a second round pick. Done.

That's the Tigers for you. Always after everyone's cousins. Tell them that, as part of the deal we'll let them have Gary Ablett's cousin. See if they blink.

Stinger, given our current ruck situation and the way Big Ben is going, you might regret those words.

I think that Jordan Mc mahon could be a real Ross Lyon project -you would get him for nothing and was a gun at the dogs. Would need to improve disposal and intensity but has some toe.

Daniel Hughes at Melbourne, mid size marking forward, had a bad run with injury but there's a bit there.

I've read about this kid nearly each week in the Sandy wrap up but what I'm thinking is, what will our first pick be?

Also, given he seems to be a gun won't we need to go early to secure him.

How old is the kid anyway?

Brad Miller kicked ten on the weekend.

I have always had him in my supercoach sides in the past hoping he would come good (never has).

He has struggled as a forward for years in the worst side.

And who knows what Ross could do with him.

And Pia Miller isn't bad either

I don't know much about him but what about is it Matthew Bate from Melbourne.

Touched us up at Carrara last year (lone hand in a losing side), looked like a decent mid sized forward... out of the Demons team atm

Colin Sylvia is not exactly a fringe player but isn't exactly untouchable either

Salopek name has already been mentioned this week

Aaron Edwards from North Melbourne. I think he would make a great 3rd tall marking option after Roo and Kosi. Would get him cheap also, and is only 26 i think.
