SaintSational forum footy round robin
Hi guys.
I have been sent an email by the Collingwood forum requesting a game at Vic park soon.
They are looking at Oct 10th, start time 12.30pm.
Below is copy and pasted of what HarveysDeciple typed up a while back as i am far to lazy to type it up myself, so let me know whether or not you can make it on the day.
For those unfamiliar with these games I will give you a run through.
We play a social game of footy against another forum, the game is 4 x 25 minute quarters and absolutely any forumite is welcome to play.
Provided they barrack for the Saints.
We don't discrimate on age, sex or ability.
The games are now played at Victoria Park
So if you are interested then chuck your name down here.
Positions are sorted on the day and everyone is given a go.
After the game we can all wander to a near by barbeque and have a feed with a few beers.
It's a good chance to meet some fellow posters and also get out there and have some fun.
All you need is a saints jumper, shirt etc etc.
If people aren't keen to play we also need a couple of boundary umpires, goal umpires, water people etc.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
EDIT:
this game is now a round robin with the pies, dees and bombers.
it is confirmed the game will be Sunday the 10th October, approx 12.30pm start.
1. nicks collingwood
2. demonland
3. saintsational
4. bomberblitz
1 v 2
3 v 4.
loser v loser
winner v winner
this is the order we will be playing in, with 2 x 25 min halves. (plus a 5 min half time)
let me know if you can make it. we need more people fast!

"Another storied win in Robert Harvey's career. They say he is the embodiment of their motto of strength through loyalty, and on the day he became just the tenth man to play 350 league games the saints reward him with a seemingly impossible victory."

Chuck my name in the mix
Actually, hmmmm that's not a good date to hold this game! Can we get it moved? I love watching Bathurst!HSVKing wrote:Did everyone forget what is already on that day?
Bathurst!
When they created LENNY HAYES (in the shadow of Harvs) they forgot to break the mold (again)- hence the Supremely Incredible Jack Steven!!

I'll get up to play again. Was a good day last year, despite the weather. Hopefully get some k's into the legs before then and kick another bag. I know the speed machine Benny is keen to play again also. Can anyone confirm that date though so that i can organize to have the young one looked after?!
See you guys then and possibly Saturday. We'll take it home this year, guaranteed.

ummmm good luck in fielding a side, I don't think I would want to be around them, they wouldn't be able to help themselves.
In Ross Get lost!
I am excited to stay at St Kilda and this is a great result for the Club and all our fans. I’m proud to be part of the Saints and am pleased to be playing football with the Clubâ€

Good to see you have your priorities in order;HSVKing wrote:Did everyone forget what is already on that day?
Bathurst!
(Not to forget the other halfs birthday... Lucky such clash will only happen every 5 years on average!)
1. Bathurst
2. Other (better) half's birthday
