We will win because we are the bad guys!
Everyone wants Collingwood to win.
My brother asked me after watching the news "Has Collingwood got an opponent in the Grand Final yet?"
i.e. the media coverage is all Collingwood.
So far we've shattered the hopes of the cats and Bulldogs.
Collingwood's next.
In honour of those who went before, in the dark and desperate years.
Incorrect, the hatred stems back to when they were so succesful in the early part of the VFL. Kids are taught to hate Collingwood.
All year we've heard how nobody wants us to win because we play ugly, they hate us etc. Now they're on our side. F*** off to that!

They're not hated because they are perennially successful. They are hated because they are knobheads.
It's hate through loathing rather than hate through fear.

I agree, especially when the lead story of the SEN news at 3pm was along the lines of
"Collingwood reminded the rest of the AFL clubs why they are the most despised side in the AFL when today at the Grand Final Parade they drowned out Nick Riewoldt......"
To those innocents out there in non AFL land who may have felt we exaggerated the problem, after today I let actions speak louder than words.
They might have outnumbered us at the parade but not at the ground now that they have alienated everyone else.
Filth get what filth deserve!
Bring it on.....

Fitzroy were pretty successful in the early years of the VFL. Any reason why parents didn't teach their kids to hate them?
Collingwood are hated because the lowest common denominator attracts the lowest common denominator. Millwall are the proof - they haven't won a cracker.
Those anti-social knobheads that follow Joffa Corfe around aren't attracted by the 1917 premiership. They congregate through the attraction of being protected and accepted by like-minded social failures.
