After a few minutes of hard footy Collingwood score the first.
COLL: 1.0:6
STK: 0.0:0

Struggling to get it inside 50 at the moment.

Collingwood with the second.

COLL: 2.1:13
STK: 0.0:0

We're playing exactly like last week. Absloutly frustrating watching us cough it up every time we go foward.

At this stage - we haven't learnt fropm last week.

An extra ground level player was probably the way to go at this stage ?

Geary for mine ... it's all about ground level pressure.

Probably the most one-sided quarter in grand final history.
And yet only 3 goals down.
I know. I'm looking for positives. You have to at this point.

Forward line lacks mobility...need to make the move earlier this week, Gilbert or Goddard forward now...

We did well to be "just" 3 goals down.

But that's 3 precious goals still ! - we're struggling to go inside 50.

Exactly...Roo with a few hanging on him....Kosi is not going to be able to run from end to end in this weather....get someone pacey in there!

Postives, if Roo hadn't fluffed it, we would of been looking far more respectable.

Do we want to save the game or actually win it? Come on Saints, this quarter or never!

the problem isn't only our forward line - it's about getting it in there too !

their ground level pressure at this stage is overwhelming - hopefully it can be arrested - another runner in Geary would have been handy - did we realyy need to go with McEvoy ?

Can't expect the Sainters to do this two weeks running. Awful start and even worse delivery.

Better lift in this half up forward and in the midfield, though defense has been solid.

True...it will settle though, we know Collingwood start well and we know we are capable of ending well.

Same old crap kicking to forwards and often no forwards other than Nick. How can we stop the simple Collingwood rebounding if we dont have players forward and create scoreboard pressure? They only have to watch out for Nick at te moment.

Grrrrr.

Midfield clearances and clear winners are needed to make an effective forward line.

You need to protect the ball handler to increase posession efficiency

Sammy Gilbert up forward will at least provide a presence and can chase like a roo dog.

Gilbert!!!

With Gilbert forward at least he's not turning over the ball.

He is not good with kicking as is the general team.

I don't want to keep harping on this - but do we need plodders or ground level players - why would you go with mcEvoy ?

The ball is sailing every which way but through the middle!

We could be down to 3 on the bench.
