so with Patto getting the chop, it shows some confidence in Stanley for next year.

Patto was as close to useless as you'd get from a ruckman, but he's good value in the VFL.

I hope Sandy pick him up.

A little surprised at Pattison, I thought they'd keep him for another year given he played a few games with the seniors. He looked okay in the Brisbane game, but no great loss really.

I thought they would keep Pato for insurance due to King and Gardi being suspect

Poor Patto. He deserved another year I reckon.

Thanks to all the guys for their efforts at the club.

This can only mean one thing. kosi to play ruck next year full time and stanley to play fwd.

Grant Thomas will be as smug as a bug in a rug.

Except Lovett, his lack of self-control screwed us big time

Thought he'd get another year as:
1) I think we have to pay him out for 2011 regardless.
2) The rulechanges would have seemed to suit him being a Leigh Brown endurance tall 2nd ruck.

The Patto and to a lesser extent McGrath decisions have definitely been brought about by the new substitute rules.

Kosi and or Blake will be doing some ruckwork next year no doubt.

Also, are we sure Leigh Fisher has been delisted?

I understand that they wouldn't mention Allen, but Fisher was training with us right to the end.

Surely not?

I think McGrath was delisted mainly because he didn't come on at all in the time he was at the club.

Allen and Fisher still on the rookie list - for whatever reason. Housekeeping has been done on Hutchings and McGrath, and King and Patto from the seniors.

Simpkin is senior-listed, as is Walsh. Don't they have to spend a draft pick each for this?

Well Fisher and Allen will be off the list. I dont think they have upgraded Walsh at the moment. Simpkin will be our last pick in the draft.

I think Patto might well be picked up by us as a Rookie.

We will need at least one more ruckman on the list as security.

Maybe we can bring back Doc Clarke

I reckon Patto will be rookied.

We don't have the ruck depth otherwise...Unless we're going all one ruckman on the competition's arse all of a sudden..

That is my thoughts, I really can't see Stanley playing in the ruck next year.

I still thought patto was worth another year (just in case)

Looks pretty crystal clear don't it. And goes a little way towards explaining Koz' contract...

Didn't we just take Allen and Fish in last year's draft? So we have to keep them for two years?
The rules keep changing I've got NFI anymore. :?
