Disappointed with the Herald Sun- Part 837,539

Post: # 1035985Post AnythingsPossibleSaints »

Just thought I'd get in early, in anticipation of the HS writing articles about the St K FC, with relation to this weeks indiscretions. This is the "lets shoot the messenger, it's us who are victims" thread.

Our fans will find a way to cry victim eventually, don't worry about that.

We deserve everything we get. And then some.

Will the players get it then? Unlikely.

Clueless and mediocre petty tyrant.

Why wouldn't the Herald Sun stick their boots in?

They have a high readership due to the sports coverage.

We are supplying them with a whole Summer of headlines.

As much as I hate the paper, they write stories according to what their readers want to hear.

Loving the "Saints scandal history slideshow".

That's a beauty.

Apparently losing last years GF was a scandal.

Seriously, whoever put that together is a complete and utter oxygen thief.

We can all talk about the way the HS has reported the St Kilda related stories and how the level of journalism has declined. They are after all just personal opinions.

But for me, the HS has really hit an all time low.

I usually scan the online additions of our major newspapers but just now had a chance to sit down and actually read the print version of “Melbourne’s leading newspaperâ€

Just flicked through todays Herald Sun in a cafe.

And I counted 5 pages that the saints appeared on in the sports section with no horrific articles.

They covered :
Doc's Passing
Seaford Opening
Gardi's Surgery
Why Ball was let go according to the Bubble

And one quite small write up about what Andy D said about the NZ incident.

Jon Ralph demonstrating his lack of reading and comprehension skills.

Isn't it amazing, repeat a lie often enough and it becomes the truth.

But much to my amazement, tacked on at the end, were comments from Molly Meldrum. This clown was talking about the club’s culture and how he was “shockedâ€
