A good team-wide effort in this game though, so hard to pick just five. Third quarter aside of course
Kosi had a great first game back, his first and fourth quarters were fantastic - and he and McEvoy in the ruck really took it to Cox and Natanui.
dude you must be joking - ruck is the only reason we nearly lost the game - minus 36 hitouts!
I wasn't aware of the stats, I'm pretty surprised that the deficit was that high. Cox and Natanui took some great grabs and Natunai had some pretty impressive passages of play, but I thought Kosi had good impact around the ground himself. Bar a couple of times where the ruck contest was uncontested (not sure what happened there) and when Natanui slapped the ball about 30 metres I thought McEvoy and Kosi held their own against what is touted as the best ruck duo in the competition.
The stats don't lie though! I guess I just felt we did better in the ruck than we actually did.

ROBERT HARVEY A.K.A The Great Man, Banger, Harves, Ol' Man River...
384 games, 4 B&F's, 3 EJ Whitten Medals, St.Kilda Captain, 2 Time Brownlow Medalist, 8 Time All Australian, 2nd Highest Brownlow votes poller.... The greatest of ALL TIME!!
I was at ground level and haven't got to look at a stat sheet to make my list look more credible but:
5 Montagna
4 Peake
3 Raph
2 Dempster
1 Dawson
but it was impossible to say that another 15 didn't deserve a vote for that game. Dal Santo, Polo, Gamble, Gram, Schnieder, Ray, Goddard, Fisher, Big Mac, Kosi, Steven, Armo etc. all made huge contributions tonight. Can't think of a player that didn't lift, Rooey had a quiet game by his huge standards but you can't say he lay down when things went against him.
