All good things come to those who wait! We are very very due for a win in the GF, nothing else will satisfy.

Unfotunately for me I'm 40 years old. Been waiting 35 years with no result. So I'd like to think we are overdue and I'll taste the sweet taste of a premiership sooner rather than later. Can't count my first 5 years!

It took 69 years to get our first, so 45 years doesn't seem that long in one sense. However, I doubt anyone here would say with any certainty that we will one another in the next 24 years. It could be that some of the players in our next premiership team have not yet been born. But I wouldn't want to cast a pall of doom over the discussion.

A toe poke...a bounce...depressing isn't it.

I relive the last 30 seconds of that draw all the time. But i remember it differently - sometimes with BJ, sometimes with Kosi marking 30 out, on a slight angle, just needing to kick a score. I imagine what it would feel like to win...what the players would feel like...what they would say...

Not good enough...too many short-term fixes, too many excuses and not enough action in 45 years. Let's hope the board makes the right decisions for our future.

The BOARD...Hmmmm

Isn't it funny that the hopes and dreams of tens of thousands of people, rest in the hands of only a dozen decision makers.

Geez, youd really hope they know what their doing.

Unfortunately for us long-suffering supporters, stupid decisions and bad financial direction by various boards since '66 have meant that the club is still waiting for premiership two..just an ongoing circus of stupid under-achievers. I really hope the current Pres and board set the club up for the next 5-10 years of stability and success.

It's not going to get any easier. We've only won one in our history in a 12 team comp. From 2012 we need to be better than another 17 teams.

I've often thought over the past year that if we couldn't manage to win at least one flag over the 2004 - 2010 period, we never will.

Not overly optamistic about the forseeable future. Hope I am wrong.
