Did I just hear on 3AW from Rohan Connerly that the Saints are now likly to pick up Leon?

Can someone confirm what I think I heard.

If so what do we all think? He had a good year. Wouldn't trust him under any circumstances in a GF.

thought I heard the same thing. then thought salary cap, must be dreaming.
what is he going to be playing for? a packet of crisps or boiled lollies?

remember he tore us apart this year in the home and away when our coach forgot to play a defensive forward on him

can he put in2 good years in a row

i think not

He left to be either at Adelaide or Perth and he would want a fair bit. Not sure how we could get him here or afford him.

What exactly did Connally say?
Just had it on in the background. That's why I am asking if anyone else heard it. I'm sure he said we were in the box seat to get him, or something along those lines.

Wont be drafted tomorrow night as he didnt nominate for the draft. Noone wants him because he said he wants to play in WA or SA only. You would have to assume the $350K he apparently wants would rule us out.

Wasn't Neon leaving because they offered him something like $100K less and it was Eddiewood who tried to put some spin on it about going home?

He walked out plain and simple didn't he?

Either way, not sure Saints are the club you'd be thinking that cash would be flowing anymore freely than the Pies....

Unless he wants to work with Scott again?
