McQualter to Gold Coast

Post: # 1182465Post Spinner »

According to The Age, will be rookied to fill a leadership void in their reserves team.

Good on him.

PS Still hope we select Fevola today!

The only aspect of it that may be appealing to a club is the fact he gets bums on seats, and the potential revenue of Carlton supporters paying up to have which team takes him as their second team (similar to the Cousins situation)

However I still predict a no to Fev today, though prepared for a Port or someone to surprise me though.

Nick Heyne also looks likely to get rookied by Carlton.

If we select Febola I will happily call Watters a retard.

Anyway, it won't happen. No chance.

Lunatic yes.

Anyone who thought Fev deserves another chance is a nutcase.

NFI.

Good riddance Fev.

Mini rookied by Gold Coast
Nick Heyne by Carlton
and Pattto by Hawthorn

Best of luck to teh former Saints at their new club

Zac Dawson picked up by Freo in the pre season draft

Best of luck to Dockers fans who will be forced to watch this gumby attempt to play in their shite jumper next year

What is ludicrous, I think, is the fact that concessions (ultimately) allow GC to be able to afford a mentor for their seconds. I mean FFS, happy that you get to play for pay and all Mini, but name me another club where you can simply 'encourage' the departure of a couple of potentially too-hard-basket boys so you can make room for a playing coach for the B's...AND GET AWAY WITH NOBODY ASKING ANY FREAKIN' QUESTIONS...

"The inches we need are everywhere around us. They're in every break in the game. Every minute, every second. On this team we fight for that inch. On this team we tear ourselves and everyone around us to pieces for that inch. We claw with our fingernails for that inch. Because we know when we add up all those inches that's gonna make the f***in' difference between winning and losing! Between living and dying!'

i always had time for patto. ok he wasnt polly farmer. but so what.
he was reliable, durable and fit. all u can ask for ain a back-up ruckman really.

he was on min wage and not really getting in anyones road. seemed pointless to dump him. he will do ok at the hawks.

I didn't mind him either. Worked very hard inside 50.

Didnt we get Siposs because we dumped him. This isnt local footy. You dont keep guys because they dont get in anyones way. The guy didnt give us anything. Siposs may.

I'd have preferred Patto in 2011 than Paul Cahill.

I dont think either would have made any difference to any game we played.

Patto might well have done better than Archer in Rd 2 and we would have won.

With the first 3 you are probably right.

Mini is reported to be at Gold Coast for a leadership role with the ressies

Nick Heyne is the most likley to play being still young but being on the rookie list he might find it tough

Patterson wont play, especially with all the rucks the Hawks have. Im guessing their recruitment of anyone with height is a reaction from last year where they lost almost every tall they had due to injury

Dawson, will play for sure, how well I dont know. What I do know is we gave him lifeline and he spat in our face and sodded off to Perth where he will get soft games as a coaches pet. So stuff him

We had salary cap problems. Someone had to leave. He got an offer that we couldnt get close to because of the salary cap issues. It was a win win for both clubs. I cant see what the club or him could have done.

Yep I'm still a fan of Zac.

Good luck to all of them, especially Mini, really hope he can crack the Suns best 22.
