Issues of colour schemes, banners and right sided avatars aside, the new site seems to be working a dream :D

serously - why has the core URL changed?

this was saintsational.com ... now saintsational.net?

seriously for what benefit?

surely we haven't lost the domain name Saintsational.com?

somebody better quick smart redirect / point saintsational.com to saintsational.net me thinks

It all changed about 3 weeks ago when SAINTSATIONAL changed servers. There was a note on the old SAINTSATIONAL but the timing wasn't too flash as many people stay away over the off-season. Battye tried to let as many as possible know and even posted the changes on facebook. I'm sure they are working on the color scheme and the avatar positions and that we will all see the improvement in the very near future. In the meantime we should NOT lose sight of the fact the people who run the site do so on a voluntary basis !!

NEW scarf signature (hopefully with correct spelling) will be here as soon as it arrives !!

how hard is it to point the old domain www.saintsational.com to the new domain name www.saintsational.net - that is an internet basic!!!

that way if people have www.saintsational.com (or the forum extension) bookmarked, when they click on that it gets re-directed to the new domain ... simple.

The redirect should kick in again in the next day or two. It was pointing at the old webhosting account (now de-activated), it will soon point to this one. Already I'm seeing a placeholder page which suggests it's not kicked in yet but the change is starting to take effect. And just a note about the new templates as I've seen a few questions about it; I aim to do that on Friday night. Extreme Dark Red will be the new default as per the poll results, but the current one and IDLaunch_Black will be available as options to anyone who wants to use an alternative theme.

agreed, its website management 101
when the domain was redirecting to bluecentral I just assumed the site had crashed again...
in the meantime when the redirection DID start redirecting with no notification on the .net site login page, I rightly assumed the site had been hijacked, as the domain wasnt pointing to "anyone" saintsational related, so it wasnt till I read about it on bigfooty could I assume it was safe to logon.
Battye as the registrar for the .com please update the .net details

Yesterday all I could get was some "Blue" website. Today, I have now gone from that to a website that has a picture of a girl with a backpack. There is a heading on a green strip that says "Welcome to Saintsational.com" Which then gives me a list of supposedly related sites eg AFL Apparel............. alas nothing leads me to this S/S site. :( :(
I can even get to a site that gives me "Eagles Gear" from this 'Welcome to Saintsational.com banner' and I'm definitely not interested in giving my hard earned savings to that already rich club. :x

So I too have to go through Google to get to this site which I have now bookmaarked. I hope this continues to work. As a computer "Luddite" such as I am, this is all becoming too, too difficult.

Add to this, with my disappointment with the unjust treatment given to stinger of recent weeks I'm begining to think is it all worthwhile making the effort to get to the site

I thought we were back to the Ecospill days.
For a moment I thought the Blues Central was the result of some sort of Caaaarlton hacker.

Seems OK now.
But very slow at times?

We are reminded of this every time something goes wrong.

Quite often in fact.

Yep because thems the facts. You would think people on here think the mods should be on the site 24 hours a day and also fixing every little problem. It isnt as if we pay money weekly to be on the site and all monies that are paid are voluntary.
