So what is the nature of Archers jaw injury?
If it is a proper break - surely it is more than 2 weeks?

Does that mean Raph was available for the Weagles squad?
Lever was mentioned as injured acouple of weeks ago, and someone else too.
Why is Saad not mentioned, and not in the squad either?
Ideally, reading an injury list and a team list together should define quite clearly who was unavailable for selection and who just didn't make the cut.
Why doesn't the injury list ever even approach this ideal?
It's stuff I (we?) really want to know, and it shouldn't be hard to do at all.

Saad was rested for the essendon match
lever was injured but now he is not, same with Raph.
Archer has a broken jaw.

The saints have been reasonably honest and upfront about its injuries, let us hope that will continue during the main season

Well I'm glad someone who knows better than me thinks it's fairly comprehensive what they tell us. I'm happy if I can feel confident.
I'm happy we've got so few injuries too!

What is going on with Jacko ferguson?

Or are they just managing him through a long season?

He is fine as is jack ferguson. Both playing next week. Just a niggle this week but both would have played in a proper game.

Wow that's good news, I thought he'd miss a fair bit of footy his year.

The short injury list is good news but also an ominous sign that we will need those who have been out there to improve on their pre-season showings

Gwilt best case scenario... Back in the 3-4 week time frame... 2-3 weeks in the VFL... Maybe a rest in between?

Round 7 is pencilled in!!..

With WILKES doing so well as a forward last week, I wonder where they will fit Daniel ARCHER back into the team this week ? I have previously voiced my opinion that he could/should be our next big bodied defender we desperately need - it will be interesting to see if the coaches take the same developmental line with him.
