Is the digital pass at the Herald Sun worth it?

Post: # 1243281Post Cairnsman »

Does anyone on here subscribe?

Just wanting to know if it is value for money or what other AFL football media subscriptions could be recommended.

The funny thing is - I got the free 2 months subscriber pass in about March - and I'm still getting it for free!

Ditto for The Age, got both ipad apps, but gave up on the herald sun as it was garbage and always needing me to re- enter my password.

No you don't need it when you can still look at the articles for free.

yeah, i'm pretty sure i'm not paying for it yet... to be fair, though, it is the best footy coverage available. s***s all over the age.

and the saints are doing a pretty solid job on the website these days actually, probably my second most visited footy media thing.

I thought it was one month free.

But I got it sometime in the preseason and haven't been asked to pay anything yet.

I signed up for the free 2 month pass many months ago and I still get it too. Hehe. But when they ask me to pay for it they can go jump.

Why would anyone want to pay a subscription to read Mark Robinson's tackle

When you click on a link that asks for a login, you can usually take "heraldsun.com.au" out of the web address, and replace it with "news.com.au", and the entire article will magically appear.....

Why not? It's an opinion. I don't agree with everything he says. Just like Caro and Rohan Connolly and the rest of em. If they write an article that grabs my attention (especially if it's about the saints) I will read it. Will I pay to read it? Probably not. Then again I swore I'd never pay to travel on Eastlink either if the State Govt decided to toll. I pay about $60 a month now. Not happy about it, but there you go.

$60 per month ? wtf ? We have no toll-roads at all in Perth (yet)...me and my missus have a tiny 1.3l Mazda, as much as I hate the little bugger, it's economical...
