That's a strong looking Sandy side. Expecting a big game from them.

I wonder, is it a little too strong ;-)
Can anyone tell me how many Sandy normally have named on the interchange ?
Seems like a couple too many ;-)
Stanley and Siposs out maybe ?

Marigliani is about 5 kgs lighter than he was this time last year due to repeated knee injuries and complications with staff infections. Probably a more afl capable body shape these days than he had in the past (played 2 games for essendon in 2010)

RHYS STANLEY will make his return to the football field this weekend following a seven week stint on the sidelines after recovering from a hamstring injury.

The 200cm tall forward come ruckman is listed as an emergency for the Saints’ clash against Geelong but will most likely make his return via the VFL with Sandringham on Saturday afternoon.

The 21-year-old said he was excited to be making his return on the weekend.

“I’m feeling really good and can’t wait to get back on the field with the boys,” Stanley said.

“It’s been a long frustrating road back but I’m really excited to play what will be a big game ahead.”

Zebs 2.4
Willy 13.14

Hope our future does dot rely too heavily on this lot

Maybe we should look at drafting Willy players before Zebs

Fair to say coaches wont be looking at any performance from today moving forward. Cockie, Raph, Shenton, Polo, Marigliani all good.

Winmar was very average. Curren was quiet. Jones was OK, did kick nice goal.

Archer was actually half decent considering conditions. Kicked awesome goal from boundry.

Umpires were absolute crap.

Adam Cockie is just awesome, Saints really need to draft him.

Arryn Siposs was very quiet. Didnt play first qtr again as needs injection into ankle to get through game. Ankle wont heal and is whats keeping him out of AFL

Sam Dunell wasnt too bad. Blake cant recall seeing him out there at all.

Was doing opposition stats so couldnt keep close eye on our players, but as said earlier was just crap day of footy and dont take any notice of anything from game.

This was the good end of ground, where there was no play for entire game. Other end was pure mud
