shortened version was posted last year

couple of comments- / questions
Why is one Sth melbourne player in a differing strip
Female supporters got just as excited then as they do now :)
bad goal kicking is bad goal kicking- 5 points each some time into the game... :0
and one player should be reprimanded for diving..

Especially those goal umpires. They looked far too casual, not even dressed in white uniforms and throwing their flags to the ground after use.

Meatloaf's grandfather was the pre-game entertainment.

That's why there's no sound...

Same wag pointed out the coverage was better than Channel 7's 2012.

Lots of ladies there, but the hats must have left a lot of fans with "restricted views"

7 mins 55 sec in...

Some South player in the background just leans over then collapses for no apparent reason.. Is still on the ground when the guy is kicking for goal in the next shot..

Is actually kind of funny...

It's amazing how much the game has progressed, but the basics have not changed. Carlton were dirty bludgers.

The place kick was there. I remember reading an old rule book that said if you were tackled you had to immediately release the ball.

I love the casual stand on the opponents hand at 9:08.

Thanks for passing it on Furph.

I am still hurting from 71;
my gut churns thinking of 97;
2009 was agony,
2010a was a pleasure to watch only to be devastated by 2010 b.
It hurts barracking for the Saints

the worst thing of this video is that during those early years we were always on the bottom , so if this was the GF , We must have been completely useless !

I noticed that and looked around for those "seagulls" that Sheeds used to blame.

Still, at least there was a vaild excuse of no video footage availabe unlike 2012 :roll:

Chuck the ball in the air and spike it was handpassing? What the f*** was that game it's an abomination, how did it take off the bowler hats must have restricted their thinking.

Eddie betts stole a pair of those shorts I think.
