Fox commentary

Post: # 1318798Post resaintlee »

Thought the Fox commentary was worthy of a mention. It was probably the best I've seen on TV for some time. The talk wasn't continual and when the Bruce like statements were made there were explanations and even reruns to support them. The stuff about Roo's movements were clear and showed why he really is so good.
So much better than ....... Thanks

Yep they really nailed the Newnes subbing out, great report. Seriously pathetic. I'm sure I heard Barry Hall say he would follow it up

Fair point, but apart from that I probably agree with the OP - at least they didn't annoy me like BT does.

Watched the Suns/Lions game last night. Pretty good game too, considering the amount of rain we've had up here.

Commentary not an issue for me as I have the volume switched off no matter who's covering it.

Actually mentioned Lee for #12 and #24 which was Wright (and also right :D )

Thought the commentary didn't just talk about GWS like they did the GC couple of weeks back.

Praised the Stanley move to the backline, focussed on Roo's ground coverage, spoke about how the Giants can learn from the spread of Armo etc.

Was listenable which is all you can hope for.

Lance or James??

There comes a point in every man's life when he has to say, "Enough is enough." For me, that time is now. I have been dealing with claims that I cheated and had an unfair advantage in <redacted>. Over the past three years, I have been subjected to a <redacted>investigation followed by <redacted> witch hunt. The toll this has taken on my family, and my work for <redacted>and on me leads me to where I am today – finished with this nonsense. (Oops just got a spontaneous errection <unredacted>)

Dwayne couldn't help himself though.

"Six times the margin has been out to 40 points and six times the Giants have kicked a goal to keep themselves in it"

He said that as they kicked their 4th goal of the match.

It is best to watch the game on mute. Those of us that know footy well need only to see the vision.
Only when there are injuries do we need the sound.

They seemed to at least have done their research on our players. Better than some other commentators who wouldn't even know that Stanley is new to the backline.

Thought they were really good yesterday and mentioned it as well. Healy and Shaw were very good and Russell was as good as he gets.
