Montagna is usually our most effective running mid so Montagna. At least Freo don't usually score massively.

Question should be who goes to Barlow.

Shut him down, they struggled without him big time.

Just like when Hayes was tagged in 09, Ross struggles without his engine room.

I want the heaviest of tags on him, it may not be Jones, but someone should blanket him.

We're going to be lucky to score against them.
This game is going to be ugly.

A very structured team with role players against a somewhat disorganised young and inexperienced team... scoreline will be something like 88 - 40 IMO

I'm confident the margin will be under 100 points.

If Kosi plays his 200th Id send Crowley to him. Might be a chance for Crowley to give Fred Fanning's goal record a nudge playing at full back

and that's the bottom line

13 goals to 4 or thereabouts

It's going to be horrible to watch.

Nick triple teamed.... Dal tagged out.... Jack let run free.... CJ to Hill.... Dockers will control the tempo, the football and stop StK from any effective offence

Well, bad things come in threes.
Sandilands & Pav to return
We get Razor Ray as one of the three blind mice.
Lets see how many times Roo gets scragged without a free,
and how many goals Dockers get from dodgy frees right in front.
When their fwds all pile on top of our defenders, and instead of "in the back"
free kick gets given as "holding the ball"
Just watch.
I predict 5- 7 goals just from Umpires' generosity
(of because they're scared of crowd reaction?)

I think this one might be surprisingly close if PAv and sandilands don't return. Watching them against Geelong they clearly struggled entering 50 due to a lack of a genuine kp target, which will definitely suit our def. also I don't think they have a defender who can go with roo so I'm looking to our captain for another big one. Just need a blinder from one or two of our mids/kids and well be competitive. That's all I'm looking for really. Go saints

Upset looming… Watters needs to pull a rabbit out of his hat…

Lee to star with 5 goals on his return to the west…

Curren 32 possessions on debut…

Stephen Milne to take photos of Ross with a bright flash all game long…

We will start centre bounces with 4 mids and no ruckman, McEvoy to roam around the ground instead of actually doing any ruckwork.

More to ideas to follow as they come to me.

I like it.

You're an ideas man.

Maybe Sandilands will play and his infected toe will somehow spread to all his teammates such
That none of them can run effectively.

Game on!

I actually think you could be right- the big forward lines have killed us. Vickery was rampant with no obvious match up, Petrie, Cloke etc all finger-banged our defence. I think if we don't have a bad game out of the middle we are going to be more competitive than many think. Richmond with out Fisher to me was a danger game this one despite Perth is not going to be a shellacking IMO.

If we can somehow get Crowley to tag Barlow we might win this one. If not we don't have a chance.
