And with so many senior players. I wonder what is the point.

Not pretty, but hey were against the team with the never ending salary cap, who will they pick up this year by stretching the rules.

End of the first quarter and here's our possession leaders:

7: Newnes
6: Steven
5: Gilbert, Ray

A few midfielders missing from that list!

Another terrible first quarter.

We have a lot of senior players in because there is no one else worth putting in with all our injuries, etc.

Is anyone seriously surprised?

This will be about kids learning, and finding out just which senior players are up for the challenge.

Well looks as though they have taken the instructions literally..... they are all just standing around watching.

Steven trying hard. Our skills are sometimes laughable. Like watching a Benny Hill skit. Tom Harley

I watched the eighties and thought I would never see anything again this bad by saints...with the draft it should not have happened but we are worse.

**** lyon and his lack of care for our future has put us in a very vulnerable position when looking at a future of being

There is an opportunity NOT to be belted here. Sydney are the walking wounded. But FFS, we have to convert when we get inside 50. Schneider's poster gave me 2009 flashbacks. Of the really bad kind.

Stopped the bleeding. Better pressure. Boy we've done some clangers. Schneider has lost all his poise.

Thought about turning it off but the game opened up a bit, much more enjoyable to watch than just seeng swans players play almost uncontested up the ground

Not sure why? But I had a quiet chuckle. Is that bad?

Yeah for a quarter and a half we were like witches hats. I wish coaches would not instruct players to corrall opponents; tackle! It's just so counter intuitive as it just allows opponents to spot up a team mate. Sydney had been given so much latitude. Thankfully in the second half we finally increased our tackling.

Well they get to draft possibly the best mid at the end of the 1st round through their academy, everything just seems so easy for them

But in 10 years time when we are holding the cup we will all be saying through Lyon's "lack of care for the future" he inadvertently set us up for success. Which is what we were all saying about Timid back in 2004. It will turn around, mark my words.
