S Baker mark II
Good to see our ex coach has taken all his traits to the Dockers. Retire Baker before telling him, delist Crowley without telling him. hahahaha

i believe that is not correct

Re: S Baker mark II
You are correct tsr if what is printed in an interview with Crowley in today's Western Australian version of The Sunday Times.terry smith rules wrote:i believe that is not correct
'Crowley said he was "like a deer in the headlights" when told by Dockers coach Ross Lyon and football operations manager Chris Bond of his delisting after 13 years at the club....................
"They just said, 'we're not looking to go (with you) next year ------- we're looking to go in a different direction'.
" I might not agree with it, but I respect it."
I'm not a fan of Lyon's, but me thinks the OP was incorrect too.

Don't like Lyon but the AFL is none the poorer for Baker and Crowley's departure.

Maybe Creepy but definitely NOT Bake's!whiskers3614 wrote:Don't like Lyon but the AFL is none the poorer for Baker and Crowley's departure.
Baker won a b&f.
He was more than just a stopper before Lyin got to him.
He was a heart and soul player who always gave 100%.
His dedication, toughness and loyalty was beyond question.
If all our players down the years had played with Bakes' passion we would have a full trophy cupboard.
The rest of Australia can wander mask-free, socialise, eat out, no curfews, no zoning, no police rings of steel, no illogical inconsistent rules.
They can even WATCH LIVE FOOTY!

Has to be kidding. Bakes rarely got beaten, could have gotten a game at any other club.
Crowley was one of the few performers for Freo in that dismal GF.

hahahaha indeed, you stole most of my thunder and this smacks of Ross Lyon circa 2011 for us.older saint wrote:Good to see our ex coach has taken all his traits to the Dockers. Retire Baker before telling him, delist Crowley without telling him. hahahaha
I said as soon as Lyon (who by the way was a great coach for us, apart from the sordid way he left us and the poor shape he left our list in after burning it out) went I said check out the state of Freo in 2016, not 2012 after he has been there for five years and then we will know if he can build a list as well as a team or not.
All roads seem to lead to the latter conclusion, with just one more year to go.
its time to make a name for yourself like you've never made before!

But the player was told.
