Mitch Brown

Post: # 1615619Post Enrico_Misso »

This guy was an absolute gun for Sandy last year and darn near won us the flag.

Always thought his skills looked good enough for AFL.
Tonight he alone kept The Druggies in the game and was inspirational up forward.
And they got him for practically nothing.

Given our "inside" knowledge I always thought he would have been a good pickup for us?

How would you see him slotting in to our side? Agree he played well yesterday but no way I see him pushing out Membrey or Paddy...

I reckon our draft strategy might have changed slightly had we known Carlisle would not play at all this year...Brown was a great swing man for Sandy and would have been a good option for our defence this season. Hindsight is wonderful.

I am not sure we would have ever taken him as a forward given we have Bruce, Membrey and McCartin.

Nope, was drafted by Essendon before the suspensions.
