The question mark (for me) is not so much with the younger or new players, it is whether the older players retain their form. Was Riewoldts year an aberration, or is that his new standard? Will Kosi, Milne, Hayes form be affected by being a year older? If they don't drop off significantly in form th...

Add Tim Lane and Steve Quarterbrain to the list.

It's not so what Maher says, it's how long he takes to say it.

As long as he can get the ball, hit a target, and doesn't break in half when tackled, I'll be happy.

If Rob Harvey wants to be the next coach of St.Kilda, what would be the better path? 1) to stay at the Saints as an assistant, or 2) to go to another successful club, expand his repertoire and reputation, then return as the prodigal son. IMHO option 2 would make him much more likely to eventually co...

Lets hope he has that effect on the opposition.

Very very light = 68 kg Some dudes do mature late - and weight is a factor. Has 6 months to bulk up now. If he commits to a weights program and a diet and takes it seriously - he can make it. interest will be how much weight he puts on apparently same height as Dal Santo but 16 kg lighter that is a...

It's great to get back to pairs of double consonants like under dear old Rod. Rod Butterss - what a great pair of doubles! Now Scott Watters. Shame it wasn't Watterss. Ross Lyon had double consonants so did Graham Gellie and Enrico Misso :!: Edit: Just read more closely. We need pairs of double con...

I love the way this place works......Tommy has gone, the king is dead, we need a new messiah, so "All hail King Paul".

Don't get me wrong, I'm on board, but I really hope he is the King, not just a naughty boy.

And here’s my nomination for today’s silliest comment. The loss of Tommy Walsh may, just may, provide a lifeline to the almost universally panned Paul Cahill. He’s been in the system a few years and just like Walsh, he has kicked 6 goals in a VFL game for Sandy. A sudden dearth of height may ...

Time will tell if this is good or bad, if we get two good kids in the draft for the selections we got for Walsh then it may be "Tommy who?"

There may also be an AFL rule we are unaware of, we may have been over our allocations of Toms - hence we had to cut two (Walsh & Lynch).

Not going to micro manage. Thinks previous coaching experience (WAFL) will stand him in good stead. Interviewing ...

Yes, but it ends AFTER the season's finished. So there's time to double our premiership tally.
