Re: Bulldogs 2016!

I also thought which many do, that Beveridge would have been a great acquisition for us. And he would have been but I still don't get the reference to hindsight. It wasn't the club's fault he's not at St Kilda...Are you saying that we should have appointed him instead of Richo? We had rangled Bevo ...

I think he will probably be refreshed getting sometime on the wings and he will be less relied upon for his scoring. Either way I'm liking the fact the rest of the football world has started to realise how good he is. There is a point where the respect comes from the wider community and he seems to ...

Re: Carlisle Was A Big Big Mistake

Right now it is but only time will tell. Kieran Collins had better not become a gun. He was a guy who looked ready to go from draft day and plenty of fans wanted. I think the club thought Carlisle would have the jump on him as he was ready to go straight away. Collins could be an established player ...

Hickey is a similar build to Spida Everitt. He has tree trunk thighs and a thin upper body. He is by no means small though. I went to the jumper presentation, training and the Dare ice coffee launch last year and met him- he's a big lad, very nice funny guy and was really struggling with his knee al...

Good call Gringo Not a supporter at all, never bought a membership, never been concerned with our performances, not happy when we win or annoyed when we lose. No emotional investment into the club I have supported for 30 odd years. Definitely not as good as the 'good supporters' like you I suppose!...

And I agree with Lovett murray that they aren't drug cheats. The club are the cheats. The players take the penalty. Those people on here who believe the players knew or agreed to this surely don't think they can then sue the club. Cant have it both ways. I think they did or did not know exactly wha...

Bo Derek was a 10 Easily a 10. I saw her a few times. Her outside game was superb. A very good mover. Athletic and balanced. Very good up front while above average down back. An all round type. Nothing left on the field. Need more. I don't want to sound sexist but she's a bit old school for me. She...

Re: Lower your expectations of what Freeman achieves this ye

Reported that Freeman is training away from the main group on a modified programme as he recovers from the hammy setback. Sounds like nowhere near fit to play let alone seniors. Correct if they played in the next 4 weeks but they don't. BM if he does train with main group and can play in practice m...

Jack Steven is elite. No. He is not! Ablett, Fyfe, Pendlebury, Mitchell, Dangerfield, Kennedy, Priddis... They're elite. I like Jack...I really do but he is not in their class. He is good but he has too many deficiencies in his game to be seriously considered elite. Danger has as many deficiencies ...

Stats aren't always correct. I would rather have Bruce, Steven, Armo, Joey or Riewoldt than anyone on Carlton or Brisbanes list.

Etihad sucks us dry- hate it for that reason alone. I only really knew Moorabin and waverley and Moorabin for the memories of the grand old days of football. Waverley was a more successful era in my life time.

Re: Bullish for 2016

We'll probably finish in roughly the same ladder position this year. A lot of teams around us will improve, like The Suns, Melbourne, and Essendon, so even if we make 15% improvement, there's no guarantee of many more wins. It's a year for some younger players to consolidate, and I expect to see th...

With the interchange reducing it will be interesting to see if the size of mids and players in general decreases to allow for greater running capacity. Mosquito fleets used to be a lot more common. Ashman, Sheldon, Buckley, Armstrong, Keogh, Marcou, Harmes, Johnston & Cattoggio used to go alrig...

Agree, he was one of the past players I reckon would suit modern footy well. He had some toe, good skills and just ran and ran. Had the run and carry game down pat.

I still dont follow the Mathieson logic. Why do people think they are 'in the know' on this? Are our recruiters really telling people who they are going to pick before the draft? I find this hard to believe. If we go Matho, does it mean we dont rate Dunstan, Acres or Ross as clearance players? Tota...

Farren and Saad are both fantastic guys who will be missed for their off field contribution. Ray is one of the gentlemen of AFL and will be missed.
