Re: The G in the Gabba!!!!!

Never thought I’d say this but my loathing of cockchin and lynch has overridden not wanting dunginfield to ever make a GF. Lions winning tonight would be great but I fear Thugmond would beat them next week whereas Geebung would be a tougher opponent

Damned if you do as they say...

Isn't Stras just another name for devon?

Devon has different names depending which state you are in. Fritz, German for example
Not sure mate. I thought the Devon was the cheaper knob and the Strassie the fancy one lol

Re: Umpires unaware...

Yeah he’s a champion, saynta. Lost Mum 3 years ago. We went down for his 80th last year and friends of my brother who know Matty Richardson told him about my dads love for the Tigs, and he bought a Tig jumper, signed it and gave to the friends who gave it to Dad at his party! Bloody epic. He nearly ...

Re: Umpires unaware...

Add in the other Geebung vermin of giblet, dung-in-field and the Deliverance stand in, and it’s little wonder they’re loathed. My dad follows Richmond and I’ve lots of friends who do too. Their 2017 flag was no prob but the club has become so unlikeable since then. Thank f*** the Filth beat them in...

Re: Will we spring a late change?

Been warm here today - 30 - though a bit of a breeze. Will cool down after sunset but will prolly still be 22 at game time. No humidity of course and should be no dew this time of year. Metricon turf is always pretty soft so I guess it gets good watering. Other grounds would be rock hard lol as it’s...

Re: 1961

I’ve always found it randomly cool that England won their only World Cup Final ( and only appearance in a Final) two months before the Saints won their only flag. And mention of the Beatles in that article...in the middle of the World Cup Final and the VFL Grand Final was the release of ‘Revolver’. ...

Don’t forget that the Bummers refused for a time to have a second strip. Some waffle about ‘our jersey is too famous to not have a red stripe’ or similar rubbish. Cheating maggots

It’s as dry as up here right now and may get to 30 on Friday. No humidity at all (never is to me as I’ve lived in Cairns) and won’t be slippery. Will be a fast deck this time of year

The mark he took against three Footscray maggots was almost Plugger-like. Not for use of the body and strength, just his positioning and eyes on the pill.

Re: Take the asterisk off

Port were much harder at the ball, and Geelong were unbale to use their skills. Anyone who thinks home ground advantage isn't a stadium almost full of supporters, wasn't watching. We showed in the middle of the year that it wasn't the ground it was the supporters. Someone may be able to correct me,...

I’ve always thought if we flipped the 09 and 10 GF performances we would’ve won both - the last qtr of the draw would have beaten Geebung and 09 would’ve overwhelmed the filth if that makes sense
