Really disappointing quarter after dominating most of the first.
Hope Richo get's stuck into them at the half time break.

Re: Where is Billy Longer?
Heard that Hickey is sick and Holmesy may be a late change tomorrow. Where is Longer? We got him from the Lions but haven't heard abt him. Is he injured? No offence intended Mo, but you do realise we have a reserve team. If you payed more attention to what Sandy were doing, you'd know that Billy ha...

Sorry to correct you there BC, but Sincs has a corked calf. Corked calves I imagine would be a little bit harder to get rid of than a corked thigh.bigcarl wrote:This article says Sinclair in doubt for Sunday with a corked thigh. Must be a hell of a corkie

Re: Team v Roos
North have had the better off us in the last four times we have played each other. Overall they are up 35-22 so we owe them plenty. Love this website: http://finalsiren.com/PreviousGames.asp?PrevTeam1ID=13&PrevTeam2ID=12&Team1ID=6&Team2ID=12 Without looking it up, I'd say that's wrong. ...

I reckon Saints fans will think we're in with a real chance to win today and obviously so will the Dee's fans, so I reckon the crowd will be 23,999.

Re: What I want to see today...
I pretty much want to see what I'd like to see every week.....as little amount of turnovers as possible. Unfortunately, as we all know, we seem to be better at it than most of the other clubs. Also, I'd like to see Billings and Bruce really tear it up today. Oh, and most of all, I'd like to see us w...

I really feel for the kid, his confidence must be at an all time low. He's far too young to be thinking about retirement, so I hope he keeps his chin up, remains positive and most of all.....stay's patient!! One day the time will come when he doesn't have to worry about them anymore and he can think...

Re: April 17, 1993 @ Vic Park - Who was there?
I was also there that day as a 40 year old. Apart from the actual game and the now infamous raising of the jumper, I remember 10 year old kids spitting at me as I walked past them walking from one end of the ground to the other in between quarters......and people wonder why everyone hates Collingwoo...

What's the current position with our glandular fever victims? DMac and Bailey Rice? Does anyone know? Both played Round 1 against Box Hill. From the VFL report on the Saints website: Daniel McKenzie (14 disposals, eight contested possessions, six tackles) “He was solid playing predominantly on a wi...

Re: NAB 3 Match Thread v Demons
Some pretty poor turnovers today but our ball movement was good. At times I thought we could have actually slowed the game down a bit as there were far too many mistakes.
Really liked the look of Gresham and great to see Nathan Wright get through the whole game without injury.

Re: Daniel McKenzie and others under the radar
He hasn't exactly flown under the radar, but I'm expecting big things from Brodie Murdoch in 2016. If he can manage to have a relatively injury free season, I can see him being a major contributor to our football team. In my opinion, with his powerful left foot, he would make an ideal winger/ half f...

Re: 2015 GF - who will win and why
My pick leading into the finals was West Coast but now I'm leaning more towards the Hawks. Both sides will be nervous for various reasons but the added incentive to make it a three peat will get the Hawks over the line I reckon.
First Goal - Poppy Puopolo
Norm Smith - Josh Gibson
