Re: Sinclair
He kinda reminds me of Tony Brown. Not sure why...size, movement Yes I can see that too -- chunky, compact, the way he holds his head. Tony Brown 175mm 80kg Jack Sinclair 180mm 80kg Sam Mitchell 179mm 84kg Don't know what weight Mitchell was on debut. But there is a small chunky player Jack S might...

Re: Team v Suns
I think Hickey must just be under done, and I agree that Longer's game against GWS was reasonably decent. Saad is a surprise, although I think he'll be wearing the red vest.

Re: Jack Steven recommits
Outstanding news, if we'd lost him to FA, our compo could have been good, but we would have been taking one step forward and two or three back. Also, a small yet most significant achievement by the club.

Re: Where has the Saints spirit gone?
Where has the Saints spirit gone? Teams under Grant Thomas and Ross Lyon werent always sucessful, but they had pride in there club and team! When was the last time you recall a Saints player tackling to make an opponent feel it, getting under there opposition skins verbally and backing it up on the...

The ground we played them on was half the size! No spaces. Ess Top Ups exposed in the space against GWS. We'd had done similar to them at Etihad.

Re: NAB Challenge 2: Saints v Topups
Mc Cartin is physically ready to play which will accelerate his development. Whilst we need to keep a lid on it (unlike Melbourne with Watts) the boy reminds me of another big log that played for us once upon a time, whom we affectionately called Plugger. You say "keep a lid on it" and in...

Re: NAB Challenge 2: Saints v Topups
Again the doomsayers appear not to know the game. Yet again there was a lot to like, as there was last week, despite the opposition. It is now clear what Richo's game plan is and the team is executing it reasonably well. The particularly pleasing aspect of yesterday's game, which got me really exci...

Re: Tommy Lee will be back in the WAFL in 2 years time!
He is not AFL standard I'm afraid. What a disgraceful post! If you are a supporter. why are you gleefully predicting a player's downfall and by extension gleefully predicting a wasted trade by the club? After reading your post about Lee and other posts about Saturday's game, I actually watched the ...

I'm a fan of Siposs and this is really unfortunate for him, as this is a crucial year for him. Chin up Arryn, just work your arse off in rehab and dazzle when you get back.

Win/loss is irrelevant when you are not a contender. I'll be happy with a good improvement across the board. That will not necessarily translate to a better win/loss than last year. Improvement is the key.

Thanks for the mail, Kosi. I know these lists are subjective, but he has to be kidding. I'm an admirer of Russell's work, but even that initial best twenty is bizarre, to say the least. I wait with great anticipation for the next list. Honestly, why do we place so much value on the heroes of yester...

Re: Chris Pelchen - The aftermath
Pelchen more than earned his place with 1 deal. In effect Mc Evoy for Dunstan (he will be a champion), Acres & Savage. A deal that many on here identify as a win, win for both clubs. It wasn't a win, win we actually reamed Hawthorn on that deal. We also undid the folly of recruiting McEvoy with ...

It's like BM has left and passed the baton to you Con. The only thing not going Sinclairs way is that he wasn't a big name. He grew up with LMac and Billings - often touted as being the better sportsman of the three growing up. Concentrated on cricket until last year when he had a real crack at foo...
