Re: Caldwell stats, bio, etc
Jack Steele appears to have worked out pretty well for us. He also had an impact as soon as he arrived. Who knows what kind of player Steele would be today if we had the current coaching and development team when he came through our door. How long has Jack been in the system? Highlights the issue p...

Re: Caldwell stats, bio, etc
Inside player who models his game on Joel Selwood. I read another report that said he was similar to Clay Smith at the same age. Bytel is also an inside mid so it will be interesting how that plays out if he ends up at Moorabbin. Jye has played 11 games, Jack has played 3. Who do you rate higher at...

Re: Rank the 5 traded players
Almost impossible to rank but the one I’ve taken most joy out of watching is Ryder. Such a great story given that at his age he, in our environment none the less, has worked himself into near career best form and conditioning. The man deserves to win a final!

Re: Gws game
Out: Kent, Hind, Jones In: Dunstan, Hannaz, Carlisle, and most importantly - Roughhead! I think we will see a dramatic shift in our game style with Ratts now being able to actually see the game unfold in the coaches box and what needs to be done. No offence to whoever has been in the coaches box but...

Re: Geary
Our gameplan is all about attacking ball movement - particularly from the back half. The issue with Gears is that when he is apart of the link, our ball movement actually stops. He does not have the skillset to continue the play effectively. The result is that our switch opportunity is wasted and we...

Re: Changes for the West Coast game!!!!!
How far away is Luke Dunstan? He's pretty far. He is in Queensland. Can join the St Kilda hub after 14 days in the AFL isolation holiday resort. So theoretically can play round 18 but with no time to reveal form. Dunstan played in our scratch match apparently (not that we get any communication from...

Re: Paddy McCartin
I know there have been quite a few threads around Paddy (the search function came up with over 3000 mentions). However my question is around given we delisted him, if Paddy puts his name forward for the 2021 draft does it mean he is chosen when any club has the opportunity dependant upon their draf...

Re: TIO Traeger Park Dimesions - Alice Springs
I wouldn't be surprised if we went in with a bit of a quicker and running type line up this week. We already have a very quick (probably the quickest in the AFL) team, and also a team with many endurance beasts like Battle. Clark back in. Not sure who is not in the team that would be quicker and be...

Re: Paddy McCartin
If he's ready to go (which he reckons he is) then I'd take him back in a heart beat. He's a delisted free agent therefore he can be picked up in the trade period rather than the draft. Look at what Ratt's has done for all the boys on our list, so imagine what he'd be able to do with Paddy. Paddy out...

Re: The sainter girls
Very happy with the girls we brought in, we will have one of the strongest backlines in the comp. We clearly have the young talent, a great coach, a good mix of experience across each line, and if we can snag another Patrikious-type with our first pick, along with Burkey's daughter (who by all repor...

Re: Lock up your mids
I have been saying this for the last 2 years to my mates. Getting Dan Hannebery was never JUST about having a player that used to play well, in the hope that he would recover from his injuries and play well for us. It was about giving other players the confidence to be traded to us over the next fe...

and Hanners, lest we forget, is the still our trade flagship, is looking pretty bad, If you ignore the $$$ Hannas cost little in trade cost. The Saints and Swans confirmed on Friday that they had agreed to terms on a trade that would see the star midfielder join St Kilda. The Swans have traded Hann...

Re: Room in the cap....
If Zac Williams from GWS was keen to move somewhere that allows him to play more as a mid then would that be worth exploring? As we've seen from Zac Jones benefitting a move from a HB/Wing role at the swans to now being an important cog in the middle with us. Williams showed that he could more than ...

Righto... In any case, I’ll take Ratten’s opinion over yours every day of the week. You don't know Ratten's opinion though. You only know what he says in the media. Well one instance of Ratten giving his opinion was actually during a facebook live Q & A session with Saints members so unless you...

It will be a very interesting call, i think it will be either Battle or Webster to come in. Battle offers versatility and Webster offers hardness whilst both are smart and use the ball well. I reckon Websters pace will give him the slight advantage on this one. Unfortunately this year is a raffle a...

Re: Injuries.
We dominated the clearances and I thought Ryder’s understanding with Gresham and the other mids was outstanding. I haven’t seen ruckwork like that for a long time. Marshall kicked a goal and did plenty around the ground. I’d be most surprised if Ratts doesn’t stick with the two rucks for now. For o...

Re: What a f######g loser
The bloke is a selfish piece of s***. The cherry on top was when he thought it would be a good idea to "come clean" on his cocaine issues and derailing our club in an interview that "coincidentally" coincided with Roo's final footy show appearance as a player. Damian Barrett sunk...

Billy Slater isn't one of the 25 according to the link below. I can't think of anyone else that has been stood down/not in the 25 footy staff able to interact with players

Re: I want to start a a campaign to (M)ake (S)t Kilda (S)elf (S)ustainable
(M.S.S S). I don't like it when Morons insinuate in the press that St Kilda should be axed from the AFL. It's time all supporters banded together and raised some much needed funds for the (our) club. This is the only way to shut these people up. I have no idea how to get this off the ground but I'm...
