Good luck to Dempster, A disappointing end. A great player and will be missed.
But as a father I know he made the right choice, and wish him well in the future,

Re: Can we do a rookie upgrade?
If was at your uncles open casket funeral and grabbed your uncles arm and waved it at everybody and in my best impersonation of your uncles voice said " goodbye all have a nice life, I'm out of here". Would that be funny? It is after all humor.

Re: Jaeger. The one that got away?
Wouldn't of had the picks available (for Treloar) , that was the year we got Carlisle and Gresham. Collingwood traded pick 8 plus a player. He also requested to be traded to the pies. We would've missed out on Gresham, plus we traded our future 2nd for freeman and was left with 14, 45, 68, 81, 99 a...

Re: Jaeger. The one that got away?
We could get a player that is better than all of the above without giving up a single pick this year, but apparently we're not interested. Round 2 is probably a little too early to say if the O'Meara gamble has paid off, like byron said, let's see 2-3 years of A grade output first. Treloar ...

Re: Jaeger. The one that got away?
+1 Too risky, I agree. Was Treloar a possible get? -- he's a player we could have used; one that carried much less of a risk. He's been in stellar form. Wouldn't of had the picks available, that was the year we got Carlisle and Gresham. Collingwood traded 2 1st rounders and 62. He also requested to...

Re: Jaeger. The one that got away?
When he's got through two or three season of high output without a serious knee related injury - then maybe it will be fair to say he's put his injury behind him. As it is - I'm very pleased he's not on our list. Well he was definitely the player we needed, but was too much of a gamble, and one we ...

Did anyone expect a different outcome? Perhaps the afl needs to be reminded of where their money comes from rather from a totally self biased decision.

Were doomed the sky is falling with only 20 games left we couldn't possibly make the eight. Sydney are f***ed also.
If were good enough we'll make it. Giving up after round 2? Seriously?

Great effort by the boys and the coaches.
What a difference from last week, inspirational stuff..
We ran out of steam in the end. So do we get fitter or slow it down for a couple of minutes each quarter?

Re: How do we improve our midfield?
Are you talking about stoppages and center square? Because almost every player is a midfielder these days. Are you referring to improving stoppages? I'm looking forward to carlisle, paddy, dempster, bruce and Brown contesting the centre square bounce. Do you suppose it might be that all players are...

Re: How do we improve our midfield?
Stop playing the same dour B- class mids all in the same middle.. Steele, armo, Dunstan, Ross.. Also don't play one of these on a wing.. There's no such thing as a 'wing' really anymore. If anything, the new 'wing' is the corridor. Teams use the wings to slow it down these days, and the corridor to...

Re: Sean Dempster might be quiting
Either way I hope he's good to go, he was supposed to play on next year as well I think you'll find he's only contracted for this year 2017. Contracted yep..But another 12 months can always be added,, That was the rumor anyway, The club was looking to extend, taking into account that all things go ...

Re: Sean Dempster might be quiting
I don't get it, why would a medical checkup stop him from being selected? It's pretty obvious that if he has had problems from concussion , then he needs medical clearance before risking playing. So he's got concussion? The club hasn't got him in the injury report as concussed..test.. Either way I ...
