Re: Even stars like Hodge are replaced

I don't rate Armo as leader (obviously without personal knowledge) and I don't think anyone else is close to the mark, so I think Rooey should stay on. Fair enough but can I ask why you don't rate him as a leader and who will be Captain in the next 2 years if it isn't Armo? No idea who might be cap...

They're definitely ahead on that one but not by an enormous amount. Will be interesting to see the final washup in ten years or so.

Re: Rookie Draft

Worth looking at the draft combine results. http://www.afl.com.au/news/2015-10-11/the-top-performers-from-this-years-draft-combine None of our guys finished high in any of the athletic tests. But Gresham, O'Kearney and Coughlan all finished in the top bracket for both goalkicking and kicking. Gresha...

Coughlan sounds like a Sam Fisher type. Coming from a long way back so if he turns out half as good we'll be doing well.

I think if another club nominates him between 20 and 25 then there is nothing really we can do about it. Yes that is the way I see it too. Would like to get him but not at the cost of next years selections. Over 25 is OK. If it was earlier than 20 that would be a big decision to make. 20-25 would t...

Re: Sydney's involvement in Carlisle trade makes more sense

Isn't the flaw in this that they would have to work out a deal with all other 17 teams as any of them can put in a bid. Why would Sydney do a trade for unders with Saints and Dons when there are 15 other teams that could undo their clever plan with a single bid. Nah, there are only 6 clubs with a p...

Macqualter was almost the best half forward in the game in 2009. That is just so wrong Nah, he was really good that year. 22 goals, 21 goal assists, 4.7 tackles a game.
