Re: What Would Be Regarded as "Success" This Season
Couple of areas I would like us to either win or be competitive in. Tackles. effective tackles are huge but numbers over 80 means we are not only working hard but placing pressure of the opposition. Tackle numbers equates to effort. Contested ball. This is what wins finals. Build a good contested ba...

Re: Road to 2018
It's a fantastic outline and I love the big view plans. The bayside charter is huge and the aim for 50k members is important. I must say I got giddy at the thought of a flag by 2020.

Re: St Kilda FC needs YOU !!
So it seems people are happy for the club to die a slow death because of miss deeds of people not at the club anymore. What short sighted disgusting and self harming that is. To have a ex coach and saints man in Grant Thomas spaming everyone suggesting the saints will relocate to new Zealand, yet re...

Lenny, jones, ray and maister all "retire", all but lenny go on to play at local level Gwilt hangs on but then delisted after we swoop on a out of contract free agent. Roo announces next year will be is swansong, staying on to be a player/coach. Highlight of the year is the news that they ...

Just for the record it's been reported by the coach that Steven's injury was from a knock not a stress fracture.

Re: Richard Colless re Ross Lyon
Not sure how a coaching situation has anything to do with the cola.
COLA has been abused lately to poach players and will get worse as free agency bites. Either it is added on to every players contract after fitting them into the normal salary cap or abolished. Simple.

Re: saints v gws
So where does Hickey (the seconder) play when Longer is in the ruck? It's one of many headaches we have. But perhaps it's a case of just allow both to play every game and learn on the job. Similar to playing young players who are not ready. Does not make sense if you want to win every game but coul...

Re: saints v gws
The good news...The 3 highest possession winners for us were Dunstan, Newnes and Webster. That and the centre square work was the positives. Ruckman worked hard against a very good ruckman. Longer will be a player and hickey will be a very good seconder. Dunstan had 15 contested balls, sheesh not b...

Re: Sandringham vs Richmond Practice Game Friday 6pm
agree on sipposs, very impressed. His running to position to take the handball and break the lines very impressive. Acres looks like a classy onballer, just needs time. Dunnell finds the ball but just too slow to use it. Thus he either uses it ineffective or turns it over. templetons tackling is exc...

quick thoughts. markworth needs fitness but is better then this level. eli doing well. holmes good around the ground. Little bit disjointed, lots of new players in this sandy team. Still good signs, quick movement
