Sadly there is quite a large presence of racial hatred still in our community and therefore amongst AFL supporters. I work directly with indigenous peoples and the s*** I have seen and have had said to me directly is appalling.

I don’t have an issue with him to be honest. I think he umpires our games no differently than any others.
But, I agree to an extent. The AFL should keep him away from saints games. Should be the same for any ex players to avoid unnecessary scrutiny.

The way I looked at yesterday's game is, our goal kicking let us down early and we should have had a 5 goal plus lead at 1/2 time. i don't think it's a coincidence that Crouch's output has dipped since Steele has come back in.
He is spending less time in the Centre bounces which is his bread and butter.

FFS he is a kid. I find the mindset of middle aged men booing a 19 year old kid quite pathetic and sad.

He averages 3.5 kick outs per game.
Kid is a gun - no questions asked!

People who claim he gets cheap touches etc need to understand that every team needs that player. It’s what he does with those touches that is outstanding.
