Darcy did a really good job last night, I now know just about everything you need to know about each Western Bulldogs player and what wonderful players they are and he managed to mix it in with the odd comment about what a good free kick to the doggies the umpire paid! Informative insightful and un...

Milan, email your post to the club. If there is any game they need to prove to the footy world that they are still genuine contenders, it is definitely tomorrow night's game.

Thommo thinks Kosi should be played in the ruck, only going forward when following the play...he says Kosi is not a key forward(there is ongoing evidence of that) I'm not sure if Ross sees him as a ruckman though....... Going by his marking efforts on Saturday night and lack of gut running, it would...

He went alright last year.. Let him play a few games in a row and not in wet weather and then determine... He is good enough You cannot blame supporters for being so negative about him now, especially with the way he played in last year's finals. Too much was left to Roo for all of those 3 Septembe...

Kosi has been over-rated for years by lovestruck supporters who have come up with reason after reason to explain why he isn't playing like a superstar. He's also spent years being just one game away from tearing the comp apart. Bottom line is he's a GOP. His output last year was satisfactory. About...

Roo's gut running and his countless efforts to make a contest would have gone a long way to help winning last night.

Three factors to consider - it was his first game back - the conditions didn't suit him - the delivery was poor However - this guy was (effectively) a number 1 draft pick - he dropped marks he should have taken - he is slow - he has no second efforts - once the ball hits the ground he is a liabilit...

rocket keogh's lc, how were the selectors meant to know that he was going to play poorly before the game? they couldn't judge him on his round 1 form and he presented as the best possible replacement for roo. But he has been terrible in every single preseason game plus his first round as well. Now ...

Hey no-one wants to bag our players but effort goes a long way. Watch carefully how many times he provided a contest or an option for the other players to kick to him. Then, watch Ebert's efforts and even Tredreas's. That is my sore point about him and I feel justified. Commentators said similar too...

His second efforts are worse than Gehrig's last few years of his career and his ground coverage to get to a contested ball situation is poor. You would think after 3 weeks off he would have been burning the midnight oil to make a contest. He is extremely disappointing.

Reckon we stormed home and won it, some one unassuming kicked a bag on his birthday, cant remember who though. Healy is the name I want to use but not sure if it is correct? Anyone? My dad tells me it was Daniel Healy an ex-South Australian. He thinks he wore number 6 from memory. He had good foot ...

Don't know where he gets his information but Lloyd said that Roo's hammy tear was worse than Gibsons and that is why he will not be right to come back this year. Pretty big call by him.

Muscle/Tendon repair opposed to reattaching muscle to bone

Does anyone know what the success is (in terms of complete recovery) with sewing a muscle/tendon tear back together as in Roo's case, compared to a avulsion repair where the torn hamstring tendon has to be reattached to the pelvis bone? Was reading different people's experiences that had the more co...

i agree re 6 weeks - possible return date. the things on nicks side is that his young, only ever had one hamstring injury which was a very minor one and keeps him self in great condition. those factors should ensure such issues as scar tissue to be minimal which wont prolong his recovery. That woul...

He was saying "off the bone" which is potentially season ending. When did he change to 6 weeks?

Jack Steven

I know his foot condition has been asked across other threads but seems easier to ask in a direct thread about him. Does anyone know how he is and whether his surgery did require bone fusing? He was ready to make a real impact pre-season and is a super talent, so I hope he will be back firing soon a...
