Granted Kos hasn't been great, but if Wilkes is recalled we are stuffed. He is not AFL standard, as witnessed in the Bris game. As other posted have alluded to, Kos needs to stay anyway to back up Big Boy.

+1...DT points are irrelevant for defenders, particularly those that play Gears' role. Thought he was solid as usual.

Former Tasmanian Tiger wicketkeeper batsman who played in a shield final. Played for Clarence as a kid about 17 in a senior premiership, the stopped playing to concentrate on cricket after Matty Wade went to Victoria as back up to Tim Paine. With the emergance of Tom Triffitt In 2010/11 Brady decid...

Re: Vale Roger Head- '66 Premiership Player

Yep, met him only once, at the reunion in Launceston in 2009, the night before the match against Hawthorn (we which won). He was part of that great last line of defence - Head, Murray and Sierakowski. Premiership teams are built on a great defence - and we had it in spades. Here is a pic taken in 2...

Re: X.Clarke

I know he's not an ex. Saint, but I watched Fev have a kick for local SFL side New Norfolk down here in Tassie on the weekend (they wear red, white and black for a tenuous link). It's the second tier league in the state but is essentially country footy. He kicked 18.6 despite playing alongside the c...

Is hesitating and hence getting nailed. Still value his marking power, just need quicker decisions when the ball hits the deck.

4 absolutely disgraceful decisions. Dempster, Stanley, rioli, Milera.... IMO thore was more to tonight's umpiring than incompetence.... Resulted in 3 goals to them and cost us 1 goal The play on call against Stanley requires a please explain. That error cost two goals alone. And it was bizarre... B...

Interesting when quizzed about the one area of our list he sees as the biggest development priority, his answer was that he'd love another ruckman.

Gliders: Cripps, Ledger - both had a taste of the big time last year and showed a bit, and now have another Pre-season under their belts and are hopefully injury free.

Slider: Gram - plenty of competition now for a wing, half back flank spot and can turn it over.

I hope they dont fall into the same trap of believing they are or will be anywhere near winning a flag next year. If they do they have their head up their backsides. Geelong are a completely different list to ours. They all home grown with heaps more quality than ours and didn't rely on half a team...
