When we win the players are all stars, when we lose the coach has no idea. When are the players going to be held accountable? Why is it always the coach? I get that the coach should be sending these players out with a fire lit under there arse, but come on these guys are supposed to be the ultimate ...

Dunno about the that. Fair enough he would be sore, but aren't all players at this time of year? He hurt his knee against the Dogs in round 11, he missed 2 games and then came back against the Kangaroos up on the Gold Coast which was arguably his best game for the year. He was also good the followin...

BJ? he has footy smarts. people will say he's too valuable in defence or on the ball but, really, what could be more valuable than getting a winning score on the board. Yeah mate I think I wrote earlier that in my opinion we need to get Goddard into the forward group. Not as the full forward but in...

How would #27 go? we could do worse i guess. he's made a fair fist of just about every other position on the ground, including ruck. tough, physical and strong overhead. kicking for goal would be my main concern. ...... we need to redress the balance of having five talls in the backline and only on...

Our forwardlines biggest problem is that besides Roo they just don't work hard enough either individually or as a group. How many times do we see repeated leads?? Players working to create space for each other?? We need to put someone down there who has a real appetite for the ball and the contest. ...

I think we need to spend some time on Dane Swan. He is the one who always gets away from us. He killed us in round 8 with 28 disposals and 7 marks. Is McQualter big enough to run with him or is someone like Dempster a better match-up.

I accidentally walked in on Brian Goorjian coaching a basketball team at Melb Uni once. I don't really know much about basketball but the level of detail which he was going into was amazing. I only saw a couple of plays but everything from feet and arm positioning to players moving to assist etc - ...

I won't be surprised to see L.Fisher come into the team. The Dogs have a minimum of 3 blokes who will require a hard tag in Cooney, Griffen and Aker. Our team as named has 2 blokes who could do a job in Dempster and Birss. I think L.Fisher will come in for Geary and I think it will be the correct de...

Cooney quiet often goes to full forward and is very, very damaging. Their game against Freo at Subi is a great example. They were being beaten, he went to full forward and kicked 3? I think in the last. He also did this in the game against the Roos. Whoever gets him will need to be able to go with h...

I just don't get why a club screaming out for some class and skill would trade one of the most classy and skillful mids in the comp? We have some great workhorses at our club but we just don't have enough cream on the top. Dal is the only midfielder we have who can consistently hit a target and make...

CJ does 2 things that alot of the blokes running around for the Saints can't do at present. He finds the ball and he sticks his tackles. Fair enough he does turn it over at times but I think he can improve that. He doesn't turn it over anywhere near as much for Casey and he plays in much worse condi...

I reckon he is best 22 also. At the moment I like having him in the backline with the Goose out as he adds that bit of size that is missing. His skills arent the greatest and yes at times things upstairs seem to be ticking over a bit slowly, but during games I find myself praising him more often tha...

What I said is that G will be leading forward out of the goal square and I have seen nothing to change my mind on that unless of course he cannot get fit or is out of form.. I never said he would be the number one forward. Rooy will continue his lead up role and Kosi will play in a similar postion ...

I too have always thought that Armo has many of the same qualities of Luke Hodge. His running style, left foot kick and especially his attack on the ball and the man with the ball. I can't remember a player as young as him come in and tackle as well as this lad. We've got some good tackling players ...

Ryan Ferguson??

Apparently has been delisted by Melbourne. Is he someone we could look at as a back up KPB?? 195cm and 93kg, can take a mark and has shown courage, but is a little light on for skills and pace. I thought he showed he could play in the few times I saw him but must admit I was very surprised to see th...

Roo should win it by the length of the straight.

He has the toughest job in footy this bloke. To be able to play so well with some of the decision making and disposal he gets on the end of is a sign of how great a player he really is.

Good on ya Rod... You've handled this like I expected, with the best interests of the club at heart. Personally, I think you have been a fantastic president and when we finally get the success we deserve I hope you can hold your head high with the knowledge that you had a hell of alot to do with it....
