possibly the most benefit from King has been his commitment at ground level - lots of tackles on opposition midfield.

He's won a fan in me - great choice RL.

i agree with getting 18 year olds as policy, but many on this forum point out a lot of our kids don't like too crash hot. I don't see a problem, per se, with drafting established players. This doesn't mean getting 30 years olds either. I don't see any problem trading picks in a year when EVERYONE el...

Lovett would be good; Boyle or Rusling would be good; Didak would be good; Kerr or Cousins would be good - of course, we'd have to give Kozi up

Kozi to WC
Kerr to Saints
L Fish, McG to SYD for a pick
Couple picks and Fiora to Essendon for Lovett
Maguire and a pick to Collingwood for Rusling

Armooo suggested Rusling above - good pick. I can't see them letting him go, but he's a good footballer.

i like this: what we gain on the merry-go-round, we will lose on the monkey bars..

Cousins would be good if he's cheap enough - fantastic.

And what a great idea to get him reunited with his old mate M Gardiner!

rumor is true

the rumor is true, folks.

My friend's mom has a house in Moorabbin, so that's near STK, and her friend runs a barber shop about 15 km south west of Subiaco - also, his son delivers newspapers in the morning to Brett Heady's aunt (Jocelyn Heady). It's on - they all agree - Kerr and NDS swap

Isn't it a bit early to write Eddy off? I can't believe RL would have persisted with selecting him ahead of Armitage, Birss, Fiora, even Leigh fisher and X Clarke these past 6-7 weeks unless he saw some future in him. I'm not sure he belongs in the 'bottom 6' debate. He's in a different category - t...

I do get your point, dude - a tough in and under player - but even if he were a few years younger I'm not sure it's really what we need. We need speed.

on the question of trading Kozi - how does a straight swap for Kerr sound?

Or how about a swap to the Dogs for a couple hard runners?

Kozi to Dogs.
Couple runners and a pick to WC.
Kerr and a low pick to St Kilda.
Two low picks and Maguire to Hawthorn for Boyle.

i agree with lose Fiora - Maybe Melbourne will take him for, say, a s*** Melbourne player Mini - tough. I don't think he's up to it. But he's done a role. Again, re Birss - what's up with that? very unlucky. Mini possibly stays for depth. Eddy - young guy, will learn the toughness to stay on his fee...

well, yes, it does. if north or collingwood won our season was worse - relatively (and you can only have a god or bad season relative to others.) Melbourne was good compared to the St Albans under 12s. We finished fourth because we outperformed the other 12 teams. Big deal or not, it's the reality.

we won't win this week and won't want to - although geelong more beatable this week than 2 weeks after we'll lose this week valiantly but without really threatening, then beat Adelaide and the Hawks before springing a surprise in GF. we are headed for the GF the hard way - win or lose, great way for...

Birss to consider himself unfairly done by -great game agaisnt Adelaide (the Essendon game is of no benefit). I thought C Gardiner out for McQ is fine -has X earned his place back, is he HARD enough, I think Birss has earned his place. He's the Attard guy, the not-quite but almost Baker guy we need ...

Here's a smokey for FF: Dal Santo

other way to lok at this of course is to see the threate as the opportunity. ewith everyone offloading players to get draft picks, why dont we top up on mid-20s players - could get some quality players on offer for crap draft picks a 25-26 year old has 4 years left - enough to see us through the dra...
